Summer School In Prague: University of Economics

Dear Students,

We would like to share our partner University of Economics in Prague's Summer School announcement below.

Following a successful summer school in previous year Faculty of International Relations and The Center for Asian Studies (CAS) of the University of Economics in Prague (UEP) are pleased to invite you to the second annual CAS International Summer School titled “Development along the New Silk Road: Asian and CEE Relations” (June 18 – 29, 2018, held at UEP in Prague, Czech Republic).

The programme offers a unique opportunity to learn more about economic and political relations between Asia and the Central and Eastern European Countries (CEECs) within the New Silk Road initiative framework at one of the leading economic institutions in the CEE region. It is aimed at enhancing academic, business and international relations competency of the participants with many stimuli (such as discussion with leading academics, experts and practitioners, as well as people to people exchange, field trips and sightseeing) for their further personal development.

Important dates:
• Registration open: 15 January 2018
• Deadline for "Early bird" application: 28 February 2018 (reduced price)
• Deadline for "Regular" application: 25 March 2018
• Notification of Acceptance: 2 April 2018
• Payment deadline: 16 April 2018

Who may apply:
Master, Ph.D. students, outstanding undergraduate students in the field of economics, business and/or international relations or young professionals at the start of their careers from all over the world. Students from other fields of their studies with strong interest in the topic are welcomed to apply as well.

Students from partner universities of the University of Economics are entitled discounted price.

The school comprises of two courses and field trips. Upon successful completion students will receive a summer school certificate and official transcript from the University of Economics in Prague.
