Applied courses will be carried out within the framework described by the public authority for Covid-19 New Normal rules.
For personal hygiene, students are required to attend the kitchen classes in full uniforms including a hat, neck tie, chef jacket, name badge, apron, chef trousers, dark-colored plain socks and kitchen shoes. Jackets and trousers are also compulsory for demonstrations.
Students are responsible for their uniforms cleaning.
Long hair should be tied back.
Nails should be short, trimmed and clean.
No excessive make up, perfume or nail varnish (including the transparent ones) are allowed.
No jeweler and watches are allowed. The only item permitted is a plain wedding ring.
All the neck ties and scarfs -if used- should be white and made of inflammable material.
Male students with moustache and/or beard must be fully shaved due to hygiene requirements. Those who have a valid reason have to submit a petition to the attention of the Directorate of the School of Applied Sciences. Subject to approval of their requests, they will be allowed to use a “food production balaclava hood or alike” throughout the practical courses. Violation of fully use of the above mentioned mask and other rules of hygiene and sanitation will cause dismissal from the practical class. There will be no make-up for such forfeiture.
