Graduate Scholarships

Tuition Waivers

Students admitted to Özyeğin University’s graduate programs are awarded a tuition waiver scholarship up to 100% and/or an application fee waiver, upon the recommendation of the respective Graduate School Executive Board and the approval of the Rector. Scholarships may be reduced or terminated at the end of each month, semester or academic year pursuant to the resolution of the respective Graduate School Executive Board based on recipients’ overall academic achievement as well as particular performance in the Academic Practice courses.

Additionally, except for the EMBA program,
a) Özyeğin University alumni and full-time administrative staff of Özyeğin University are eligible for a minimum of 25% tuition waiver scholarship.
b) Full-time faculty of Özyeğin University are awarded tuition waivers for the term of their employment at the University.

Part-Time Academic Work

Turkish students are also awarded monthly net cash stipends of 3,600 TL for a period of 12 months in return for active participation in academic work on a part-time basis as per Article 46 of Law No:2547. The continuance of cash stipends depends on satisfactory fulfilment of assigned roles and responsibilities, good academic standing, and a passing grade in the Academic Practice courses.

Faculty Trainee Scholarships

In addition to cash stipends awarded for part-time academic work, eligible students are awarded Faculty Trainee Scholarships in the form of cash stipends and/or free housing in the OzU dormitories, depending on their preference. The amount of cash stipends is determined by the respective Graduate School Executive Board and subject to the approval of the Rector. Also, the continuance of this scholarship depends on a good academic standing, and a passing grade in the Academic Practice courses.
