Department of Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS) aims to educate students so as to generate sophisticated graduates with a high intellectual level, open to multi perspectives, and feeling social responsibility, who can think out-of-the box in their occupational fields.

The philosophy of our department is to have all of our students settle in their private and professional lives as subjects with social communication skills, objectivity, and moral responsibilities.

The department of HSS consists of faculty members who are graduates of respectable universities from the Globe and it reaches out to all students in the campus with several mandatory and elective courses.

Our courses provide the students from different faculties with the exceptional opportunity to team up with each other, developing friendship as well as occupational collaborations. Therefore they pioneer an interdisciplinary dialogue which is foundational to university life.

Department of Humanities and Social Sciences advances research in fields such as anthropology, literature, sociology, philosophy, and history.
