Biography

Zeynep Reva graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Law in 1996. After completing his internship at Istanbul Bar Association, she received his Master's Degree in Economic Law from Istanbul Bilgi University and his Master's Degree in Forensic Medicine and Ethics from Acıbadem Mehmet Ali Aydınlar University. She received his PhD in Medical Law from Istanbul Medeniyet University. She works in the fields of human rights, violence against disadvantaged groups, especially women and children, forensic sciences, and victimology. Zeynep Reva, who develops projects with violence against disadvantaged groups, is a project coordinator and a project trainer, is one of the national consultants of the European Union/Council of Europe Horizontal Support Program for the Western Balkans and Turkey: Strengthening the Human Rights Protection of Migrants and Victims of Trafficking in Turkey (2019-2022) She is a national consultant in the fields of gender equality and communication for the Council of Europe's "Promoting Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) in Turkey" Project (2021-2023). Zeynep Reva, the Coordinator of the ÖzÜ Violence and Law Laboratory, is the Project Coordinator of the "Life Advice to 18-Year-Old Me: Documentary on Bridge Between Generations " supported by the European Union Sivil Düşün Program. Zeynep Reva, project deputy coordinator and project trainer of the "Zero Tolerance to Forced Marriages Project" funded by the Canadian Embassy in Ankara; se also served as the project coordinator and project trainer of the "Strengthening the "Children at Risk" with Municipality Force Projct" funded by Freedom House. The "Child Can Not Wait Project", which aims to teach children about children's rights, the "Phoenix Project", which aims to raise awareness on combating violence against women, and the "Child Not Bride Project", which aims to combat early and forced marriages, are among the projects implemented and coordinated by Zeynep Reva. Zeynep Reva is a member of the Mental Health Scientific Board at the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Community. Zeynep Reva is a member of Women's Rights Center and Children's Rights Center of İstanbul Bar. Zeynep Reva has articles published in national and international refereed journals in the fields of child rights, woman rights, elderly rights, forced and early marriages, violence in particular violence against women and children, forensic sciences, medical law and insurance; papers presented in national and international congresses; and two books titled “Forensic Insurance” and “ Traditional and Complementary Medicine Law and Malpractice”. Zeynep Reva lectures Human Rights Practices, Human Rights Law, Children at Risk, Combating Child Labor and the Rights of Child Labor, Project Development and Cycle, Effects of Fundamental Rights and Freedoms on Private Law.
