Özlem Dilber obtained her B.Sc. from Marmara University, Department of Political Science and International Relations in 2007, her M.A. and Ph.D. in the Ataturk Institute for Modern Turkish History from Bogazici University in 2009 and 2021. Between 2010 and 2012, she taught History of Turkish Republic courses at Boğaziçi University. Between 2014 and 2016, she worked as grader of the History of Turkish Republic courses at Özyeğin University. Since 2016, she teaches History of Turkish Republic courses at the same university. Her research focuses on women’s history in the Ottoman Empire and the early Republican period.
