Merve Elbirlik Tülek works as an Instructor at ScOLa. She received her BA in English Language and Literature from İstanbul University in 2001; her MA in Educational Administration and Supervision from Yeditepe University in 2009. She holds ICELT certificate and DELTA diploma from Cambridge University. She completed a 20 credit post-graduate course in Teaching English for Academic Purposes at University of Glasgow.

 Prior to Özyeğin University, Merve worked at Elit Language Course, Ankara University Tömer, Marmara University, Bilfen Çamlıca Primary School, Yeditepe University and Doğuş University as an EFL instructor and teacher. At Doğuş University, she also worked as Instruction Coordinator, Test Office Member and Teacher Development Office Member.
