Dr. Leila Ashegh Navaie is currently an Instructor at the School of Languages at Özyeğin University  where she has been teaching since 2023. She holds a PhD in Applied Linguistics and TESOL from Urmia University, an MA in TEFL from Khatam University, and a TESOL Diploma from London Teacher Training College. Throughout her career, Leila has participated in various teaching webinars and seminars, where she presented research articles on topics related to her field of expertise. She has also published extensively, with works appearing in respected journals like Frontiers in Psychology, The Journal of Asia TEFL and the Iranian Journal of Language Teaching Research. Prior to Özyeğin University, she accumulated over 13 years of teaching experience, both on-site and online, at universities and institutes. Her research interests include positive psychology, mindfulness, critical thinking, and the wellbeing of both teachers and students.
