Hande Temur graduated from Istanbul Technical University, Department of Meteorological Engineering in 2013. She completed her master's degree in Atmospheric Sciences at Istanbul Technical University in 2020 and still continues her doctoral studies on Atmospheric Sciences at Istanbul Technical University.

She has worked as a project engineer in the renewable energy sector for about 5 years in the past. She worked as a research assistant in the TÜBİTAK project during her MSc. education. As of 2020, she has been giving ATPL and PPL aviation meteorology courses, which are one of the pilot training courses at FENIX and ERAH flight schools, as a Theoretical Knowledge Instructor. She has been teaching aviation meteorology at Özyeğin University, Department of Pilotage since the fall semester of 2022.
