Hamide Bağçeci graduated from Maltepe University Faculty of Law in 2003. She successfully completed her master's degree in Marmara University- Institute of Social Sciences /Public Law program in 2005, and her doctorate degree in Marmara University-Institute of Social Sciences/Public Law program in 2010. She worked as a faculty member at Kadir Has University, Faculty of Law, Department of Constitutional Law between 2012 and 2021. She received the title of associate professor in 2020 and was appointed as a faculty member in the Department of Constitutional Law at Özyeğin University Faculty of Law in 2021. Her main research areas are Constitutional Law, Human Rights Law, Political Participation, Health Law, Medicine Law, Patient Rights, Patient Right to Self Determination, and Bio-medical Law.
