Haluk Tekerek, obtained his bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the Turkish Military Academy in 2001. He started his first flight in 2001 then graduated as a pilot from Army Aviation School in 2002. In 2008, he completed Aviation Maintenance&Test Pilot Course in USA, thereafter he worked as a test pilot in modernization and electronic warfare projects at ASELSAN, TAI and Presidency Of Turkish Defense Industries. In 2011, he finished ‘’Basic Aircraft Accident Investigation&Aviation Safety Officer Course’’ in USA. In 2017, he joined ‘’Train the Trainer Assessment and Evaluation Course’’ and ‘’Flight/Cabin Crew CRM Trainer Training’’ in Sunexpress. Currently; Haluk Tekerek, who is holding both CPL(H)&ATPL (A) licences, works as B737 Captain and CRM instructor at SunExpress and therotical knowledge instructor in flight schools. Haluk Tekerek’s research interests include not only "CRM and the importance of CRM training in airline companies but also “The effects of human factors in aviation safety’’.
