Haluk Konuk received his PhD in 1996 from University of California, Santa Cruz where his PhD dissertation was on modeling and fault simulation of open-defects in VLSI circuits. He received a BS in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) from Boğaziçi University in 1986. He went to CWRU as a teaching assistant and a Fulbright scholar, and did an MS thesis on high level synthesis of digital circuits. He worked in Silicon Valley at Hewlett-Packard/Agilent Technologies, and at Broadcom Corporation from 1995 to 2020 in the area of VLSI Test, where he contributed to the development of dozens of ASICs and processors which form the backbone of today's internet. He started Palo Alto Test Technologies in January 2021. He served in various IEEE Conference Program Committees, and holds 9 U.S. patents. His research interests include Design for Testability, Automatic Test Pattern Generation, Electronic Design Automation, and VLSI.
