Esra Baskan graduated from Başkent University Faculty of Law in 2005. She successfully completed her master's degree in Başkent University- Institute of Social Sciences /Private Law program in 2007, and her doctorate degree in Ankara University-Institute of Social Sciences/Private Law/Labour and Social Security Law program in 2012. She worked as a faculty member at Başkent University, Faculty of Law between 2007 and 2017 and Maltepe University, Department of Labour and Social Security Law between 2017 and 2023. She received the title of associate professor in 2021 and was appointed as a faculty member in the Department of Labour and Social Security Law at Özyeğin University Faculty of Law in 2023. Her main research areas are Labour Law, Collective Labour Law, Social Security Law and Occupational Health and Safety Law.
