Ekin Deniz İlhan started her primary and secondary education at TED Ankara College and graduated from Başkent University Faculty of Law in 2014. She obtained her LL.M. in 2016 International Business Law from the University of Exeter, UK. She commenced her doctoral studies at Social Sciences Institute of İhsan Doğramacı Bilkent University in 2017, passed the Ph.D. qualifying exams and received her Ph.D. degree in 2023 with her dissertation titled “Solving the Key Issues in Investment Disputes: Multilateral Investment Court and The Other Options”. She also worked as a teaching assistant at İhsan Doğramacı Bilkent University, Department of International Law between 2020 and 2022. Dr. İlhan’s work focuses on private international law, energy investment law and dispute resolution, international commercial and investment arbitration, international treaties, international civil procedure law.
