Onur Cem Aygın received his bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Özyeğin University in 2018, and his master's degree from the Institute of Science at Özyeğin University in 2020. He is currently a doctoral candidate at the Institute of Science at Özyeğin University. Additionally, he works as a Research Assistant in the Department of Civil Engineering at Özyeğin University. His areas of expertise include earthquake engineering, aftershocks, structural reliability, vulnerability due to disasters, fragility, risk, and resilience. His research focuses on the creation of statistical frameworks for evaluating structural performance against aftershocks, utilizing machine learning techniques.
