Finite fields and functions over finite fields
Ayça Çeşmelioğlu obtained her BSc from Boğaziçi University, Department of Mathematics in 2000, MSc and PhD in Mathematics from Sabancı University in 2002 and 2008, respectively. After completing her PhD, first she worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Sabancı University, then for a short time at INRIA-Paris Rocquencourt and at Otto-von-Guericke University between 2011 and 2013.
From 2013 to 2019 she worked at İstanbul Kemerburgaz University and from 2019 until she joined Özyeğin University, she worked at İstanbul Bilgi University, Mathematics Department.
Her research focuses on finite fields, functions over finite fields, their properties which are important for the applications in cryptography and coding theory and their relations to combinatorics.
