In the seminar series 'Cutting Edge Thermo-Fluid Dynamics', German and Turkish scientists Met with S

The Mechanical Engineering Department of Ozyegin University, organized the seminar series
"Cutting Edge Research and Technology Development in the Field of Thermo-Fluid Dynamics"
between 26-30 May 2014 within the frame of German-Turkish year of Research, Education and Innovation-2014.

The seminar series was conducted with the contributions of 15 renowned German and Turkish scientists. The dynamic lectures full of discussions was very fruitful to all participants.

With the generous financial support of TÜBİTAK and Ozyegin University and the efforts of Asst. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Özgür Ertunç and Prof. Dr. Pınar Mengüç, more than 80 audience coming from 26 different institutions had chance to learn cutting edge developments and the future directions in the field of Thermo-Fluid dynamics from the leading scientists of this field. Moreover, some participants discussed also possible collaborations.  

The German scientists were introduced to Istanbul and Turkish culture by learning how to do Ebru-art of marbling.
