Özyeğin University has been named the 4th best foundation university in Türkiye in the “QS World University Rankings: Sustainability 2025,” published by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), a leading global higher education analyst and ranking institution headquartered in the United Kingdom. The rankings assess universities worldwide based on their contributions to social and environmental sustainability. Özyeğin University achieved an impressive overall ranking of 880th among 1,744 universities evaluated worldwide, placing 15th among 36 Turkish universities and 4th among foundation universities in Türkiye.

The methodology employed by QS for the “World University Rankings: Sustainability 2025” evaluates universities worldwide across three core categories: Environmental Impact (45%), Social Impact (45%), and Governance (10%), using 9 dimensions and 52 indicators within these categories. To assess and rank each university’s contributions to social and environmental sustainability, QS uses institutionally supplied data and evidence, bibliometric data, academic and employer reputation survey results, alumni outcomes, and national statistics.
