Basic Rules
- When one side commits a foul, the other side continues the game by placing the ball (white ball) anywhere on the table they want.
- A foul occurs when any ball goes off the table. The ball that comes out (except the white ball) is put into the hole and the game continues according to the foul rules.
- Each player must indicate the ball and hole he will shoot (this rule does not apply in the 1st Preliminary Elimination). If a different ball or a pot is made in the wrong hole, there is no foul, but the other side continues the game.
- If the last ball, the black ball, goes into the wrong hole, the set ends and the side that cannot pot the black in the declared hole or accidentally pots it loses that set.
- The opening side is determined by a toss.
- While the game is in progress, spectators and the opposing team are expected to stay away from loud and distracting movements.
- After the opening is made, a party is not considered to have selected a ball unless it throws the ball into the declared hole. Both sides are free to choose the type of ball they want (pieced, flat) until this action takes place.
- After the white ball is shot, after the white ball touches one of the balls chosen by the shooter (the black ball if it is black), any ball must touch the cushion or be potted. Otherwise it will be a foul.
- While shooting, the shooting player must have contact with the ground. Otherwise it will be a foul.
- Contact with any ball on the table other than shooting (hand impact, cue contact, clothing or body contact, etc.) is a foul. Contact with the white ball while placing the white ball in a foul shot is excluded.
- For unspecified cases; Table referee decisions are applied.
