OzU Students Elif Naz Sürücü and Ezgi Sezer from Faculty of Architecture and Design Won First Prize at Premio Piranesi_Prix de Rome 2024

Özyeğin University Faculty of Architecture and Design students Elif Naz Sürücü and Ezgi Tezer won first prize at the 22nd Edition of Premio Piranesi_Prix de Rome, an international competition held in Tivoli, Italy from August 26 to September 6, 2024. With this success and the prize, our students became eligible to apply for the prestigious Accademia Adrianea Itinerant Master’s Program.

Over 200 students from various countries participated in the Villa Adriana International Architecture and Museography Seminar Design Competition, organized by The Accademia Adrianea for Architecture and Archaeology Onlus, collaborating with many organizations worldwide. Assistant Professor Luca Orlandi from the Faculty of Architecture and Design also served on the event organizing committee. Özyeğin University was represented by Zeynep Beyza Gergin, Doğa Akkoçak, Elif Naz Sürücü, and Ezgi Tezer at the competition.

OzU students Elif Naz Sürücü and Ezgi Tezer were part of Group 16, which won the First Prize in the competition. Their group included students from other prestigious universities, such as the Università di Trieste, Politecnico di Milano, and Politecnico di Torino. The prize comes with a €4,500 scholarship, which can be used for the Accademia Adrianea’s Itinerant Master’s program starting in March 2025.
