Özyeğin University Faculty Members Ranked in the Top-Cited Scientists Globally

Faculty members from different programs at Özyeğin University have been included as the most cited scientists globally, ranking in the top 2% based on a recent study using Scopus data, a scientific citation and abstract database by the academic publisher Elsevier.

The ranking is based on a composite indicator (C-score), which measures the impact of a scientist’s work through multiple criteria, including citations, h-index, co-authorship, and authorship positions.

The two categories of Özyeğin University academics are as follows:

Career-long impact: This category measures the lifetime impact of a researcher’s work, accounting for their entire career’s contributions to science and innovation until the end of 2023.
