Athletic Center Operating Hours

Dear Students,

Our Athletic Center, located on campus, operates between 08:00 – 22:00 on weekdays and 09:00 – 18:00 on weekends. The only reason the Athletic Center opens before 08:00 is to complete cleaning and maintenance procedures by the opening time.

The use of the Athletic Center, especially the pool, before 08:00 poses significant risks in terms of occupational health and safety. According to the “Regulations on Health and Safety Standards for Swimming Pools,” a licensed lifeguard must be present at all times during the pool's operating hours. Additionally, the inability to provide immediate medical assistance in case of accidents or health issues in other areas of the Athletic Center presents another risk factor.

Moreover, the rules set for using the fitness area are decisions made with your health in mind. The closing times of the Athletic Center (22:00 on weekdays and 18:00 on weekends) indicate the facility's closure. Therefore, it is expected that you vacate the sports areas 15 minutes before the closing time.

We kindly request your sensitivity in adhering to the Athletic Center's operating hours and the rules regarding the usage of its facilities for the above reasons.
