2024-2025 Fall And Spring Semester Additional Dormitory Applications

Dear Students,

Please be advised that following the results of the 2024-2025 Early Dormitory Application and Newly Registered Student Dormitory Application, there were some students who did not complete the fee payment or cancelled their dormitory room for various reasons. Since the payment processes are still ongoing, settlements can be made other than the room type applied for. When filing your application, we kindly remind our students, for whom it is crucial to stay in our dormitories, to mark the "YES"; box for the option "If I cannot be placed in the room type of my preference, I would like to be placed in any room" in the application form.

Dormitory Application Process:

You may complete your dormitory applications for the 2024-2025 Fall and Spring semester via SIS from Wednesday, September 04, 2024, 10 a.m. to Friday, September 06, 2024, 17:00.

No fees will be paid during the dormitory application. However, students who are assigned rooms upon their applications are required to pay in full the security deposit of 5.500 TL and the housing fees for the Fall semester, which have been updated as per our rules and regulations. Students who have been unable to pay their security deposits are urged to make their incomplete payments till the date to be specified in the announcement of dormitory application results.

Room Assignment Priorities:

1. Students with Housing Scholarship
2. International students
3. Newly admitted students
4. Current Students from Outside Istanbul   
5. Current students from Istanbul **

*The order of priority for room assignments for students from Istanbul is as follows:

1. Precinct: Arnavutköy, Büyükçekmece, Çatalca, Silivri
2. Precinct: Princess Islands, Avcılar, Başakşehir, Beylikdüzü, Esenyurt, Küçükçekmece, Sultangazi,
3. Precinct: Bağcılar, Bahçelievler, Bakırköy, Bayrampaşa , Esenler, Eyüp Gaziosmanpaşa, Güngören, Zeytinburnu
4. Precinct: Beykoz, Beyoğlu, Fatih, Kağıthane, Pendik Sarıyer, Tuzla 
5. Precinct: Ataşehir, Beşiktaş, Kadıköy, Kartal, Maltepe, Şile, Şişli, Üsküdar
6. Precinct: Çekmeköy, Sancaktepe, Sultanbeyli, Ümraniye

Students whose precincts are the same will be ranked among themselves based on the following order of priority:

1. Year of Admission (Current students will be ranked based on their year of admission from earliest to latest)
2. Date and Time of Application (from earliest to latest)

Residence Address Investigation For Current Students:

In implementing our room assignment priorities, our primary condition is to take into account the students’ permanent residence address and the creation date of this address. Residing outside the city constitutes a priority in room assignments. However, other criteria for room assignments are also considered before making the final decision. Please note that in case the student changes his/her permanent address before or after his/her university enrollment, the reason, justification, and date of the change of address will be investigated while reviewing the application, and if deemed necessary, the student’s permanent address at the time of his/her university examination and high school education will be taken into account.

When determining the room assignment priorities of international students, their alma mater (country information) and/or permanent addresses will also be taken into account.

Application Results

You may check the result of your dormitory applications starting from Tuesday, September 10, 2024. To check your dormitory application results, please log into the SIS and click on the Dormitory Procedures >> Dormitory Application Result tabs.
