Assistant Professor Mohammed Elamassie Joined the COST Action 6G-PHYSEC Project

Dr. Mohammed Elamassie, a faculty member at the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department and the Executive Co-Director of the Center of Excellence for Optical Wireless Communications Technologies (OKATEM) at Özyeğin University, joined the European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST) Action 6G-PHYSEC project on Apr 26, 2024. The full name of the project is COST Action CA22168 – Physical Layer Security for Trustworthy and Resilient 6G Systems (6G-PHYSEC), and it aims to enhance 6G trustworthiness with innovative physical layer security solutions. Dr. Elamassie is currently on Working Groups 1 and 4 at COST, a funding organization to establish research networks. The organization has been receiving EU funding under the various Research and Innovation Framework Programmes, including Horizon Europe, since 1971.
