Özyeğin University Wins the CFA IRC Turkey Challenge

Özyeğin University won the first place in the CFA Investment Research Challenge Turkey 2020. The challenge was organized by CFA Institute, one of the world’s most renowned financial institutions, under the auspices of CFA Istanbul Society.  The OzU team made up of the Faculty of Business students Eya Beldı, Mücahit Bölükbaşı, Barkın Kaynar, Banu Mammadova and Alina Selen Yumşak led by academic advisor Zümrüt Can and industry mentor Özgür Uçur placed first in the challenge. Our students will represent Turkey in the EMEA finals in Jordan on April 1-2.

The OzU team competed against teams from the Middle East Technical University, Istanbul Bilgi University, Bilkent University, and Izmir University of Economics. We would like to congratulate our students and their advisors, and wish them continued success.
