Mehmet Şamil Dayanç, who works at the School of Foreign Languages ​​at Özyeğin University, started studying at the Department of Turkish Language and Literature at İstanbul Şehir University with a full scholarship in 2012. His articles have been published in various journals since his undergraduate education. He started his master’s degree at the Department of Turkish Language and Literature at Boğaziçi University in 2019 and graduated from this program in 2022. He was awarded the “Young Social Scientists” award by the Turkish Social Sciences Association in 2023 with his master’s thesis. He is continuing his doctoral studies at the Department of Turkish Language and Literature at Boğaziçi University.
