2020-21 Erasmus+ study and traineeship mobility applications will be active between 30 January – 13 February 2020, 13:00. Please be advised that late applications will not be accepted. You may apply online for the Erasmus+ Programs through the KION application system

If you would like to apply for both study and traineeship mobility programs, you must fill out two separate applications on the system. In this case, 10 points will be deducted from your Erasmus Score for your traineeship application. Additional evaluation criteria can be found below.

1. Erasmus+ Study Mobility Application

Erasmus+ study mobility application deadline is 13 February 202013:00.

You must apply online and submit the application before the deadline. You can select up to four institutions at the time of application. You cannot ask for a change in your application form (change of semester/institution, etc.) after the given deadline. Final instructions will be provided before the application period.

Erasmus Language Exam (ELE) will be held on Friday, 14 February 2020, at 13:00. The location of the exam will be announced after the application deadline via MyOzU announcements. If you have taken the ELE in February 2019, you do not need to retake the exam since ELE scores are valid for two years. Other standardized language exam scores (IELTS, TOEFL, PTE) will not be considered valid for the Erasmus evaluation/ranking.

There will be a make-up exam on 24th February, Monday. The time and location will be announced after the ELE with related students.  You can only apply for make-up exam if you meet the following requirements:

  • If you have a health/medical report documenting your health excuse,
  • If you have a document showing that you have lost your first degree relative,
  • If you have been assigned to social, cultural, sporting and promotional activities that represent the university.

Your request for make-up exam will be considered by ScOLa and if accepted, you will be invited to the exam on February 24 by the International Office including the time and location. Students whose excuses are considered invalid will be notified by e-mail that they will not be able to take the exam.

Students will be asked to confirm their placements to partner institutions soon after the results are announced. Placed students must submit their commitment forms and any additional language requirements to the International Office via the online system by Monday, 23 March 2020 at the latest; otherwise they will not be nominated to the partner institutions and their applications will be cancelled automatically.

Presentation slides, partner institutions list, Erasmus+ program info and other important notes can be found in the following links. Please note that agreements/quotas are subject to change. The final list will be available in the online system during application. All applicants are responsible for reviewing the information provided under these links:

Erasmus+ Grants

So, it is possible to participate in the program as a ‘zero grant’ student. Availability is based on ranking within the faculty. If a student receives a grant, the monthly amount given depends on the host country and the student can be funded for maximum 4 months of exchange period.

Details about the Erasmus+ grant can be found in our website and the above-mentioned presentation.
