Dr. Cihan Alp started practicing law in Istanbul After completing his undergraduate education at Istanbul University Faculty of Law,. In 2010, he was accepted to the health law module of Kadir Has University Private Law Master's Program. He completed his master's degree with his thesis titled " Legal liability of private health care providers pharmacists and pharmaceutical manifacturers in outpatient care ". In 2014, he was one of the first students accepted to Istanbul Medipol University Health Law Doctorate Program. He graduated with his doctoral thesis titled "Palliative Care in Terms of Health Law". His doctoral thesis was published as a book with the same title in 2023.
Dr. Cihan Alp has been teaching part-time courses in various fields of law, primarily health law, at various universities since 2014.
