Dr. Miray Boğa obtained her B.Sc. in 2008, M.Sc. in 2013, and Ph.D. in 2022 from Istanbul Technical University, Department of Industrial Design. After working as a product designer in the furniture sector between 2008 and 2010, she started as a research assistant at the T.C. Okan University, Department of Industrial Design until 2012. She joined the Istanbul Technical University Department of Industrial Design in 2012 as a research assistant. Subsequently, she worked as an instructor between 2018 and 2023 in the same department, teaching theoretical and practice-based courses such as design studios, manufacturing methods, design thinking, and bio-inspired design. Her research focuses on nature-based and bio-approaches in design and environmental sustainability policies.
