Civil Engineering Program PhD Student Mahshad Azima’s Project Awarded Gold Prize at Student Entrepreneurship Competition in China

Mahshad Azima, a PhD student in the Civil Engineering Program at Özyeğin University, received one of the gold prizes at the 14th Qin Chuangyuan Chinese College Student Entrepreneurship Plan Competition, which took place at Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) from October 29 to November 2, 2024. The competition attracted over 3 million students from more than 2,700 universities, with a total of 390,000 innovative entrepreneurship projects submitted. Ultimately, 839 projects from 412 Chinese universities and 14 international universities reached the finals. Mahshad Azima reached the gold prize with her project entitled “Adaptive Solar-Active Glazing Concept.”
