Prof. Aslıhan Ünlü Reappointed as Expert Panel Member for Flanders Research Foundation for a Second Term of Three Years

Prof. Aslıhan Ünlü, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Design at Özyeğin University, has been invited by the Board of the Flanders Research Foundation (FWO) in Belgium to serve as a member of the expert panel for an additional term of three years. This marks her second term in this prestigious role.

Prof. Ünlü will serve her second term from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2027, continuing her role as an expert panel member within the ‘SBWT9 – Construction and Architecture, Spatial Planning’ working group. Her responsibilities will cover key research areas, including architecture, urban and spatial design, sustainable building and construction technologies, building physics, energy-efficient design, construction and renovation, and sustainable building materials.
