ÖzÜ Anthropology affiliates to SOAS-GLOCAL!

Özyeğin University Department of Anthropology has been invited to join the Global Council for Anthropological Linguistics (GLOCAL) of SOAS (School of African and Oriental Studies) at the University of London and has agreed to establish an institutional collaboration.

SOAS GLOCAL works with universities to develop scholarship in linguistic cultural anthropology, sociolinguistics and language and society. Its networks are widespread in non-Western regions, particularly in the Global South. It also aims to broaden the field of linguistic anthropology to include other disciplines.
