Civil Engineering Undergraduate and Master’s Program Alumnus Bilal Balcı Accepted to the US State Department's YTILI Program

Bilal Balcı, an alumnus of both undergraduate and Thesis Master’s Program in Civil Engineering at Özyeğin University, has been selected for the Fall 2024 Young Transatlantic Innovation Leaders Initiative (YTILI) Program. The program was established in 2016 as a flagship program under the U.S. Department of State for emerging and young European entrepreneurs to experience American business life. As part of the program, our graduate Bilal Balcı will work and receive training in the U.S. between 16 September and 26 October, 2024.

The program aims to connect young and innovative business and social entrepreneurs from Europe with international participants of the program, as well as with leaders in selected sectors in the US and has so far attracted more than 300 young entrepreneurs. In a 6-week period consisting of 3 phases, namely Entrepreneurship and Professional Development curriculum, Professional Work Process, and Closing Program, participants will receive entrepreneurship and leadership training in their own sectors. Bilal Balcı plans to prepare his own mobile game company Orange Wolf for the investment process in the U.S.
