Honorable Mention Award Goes to Our Student Kumsal Kurt For “Hold Up”

The Aircraft Seat and Parts Design and Engineering Competition organized by TSI Seats for university students in the 2019-2020 academic year has been concluded. 

Organized for the first time this year, the competition aims to lay the groundwork for the design and development of unique and modern products with high added value for the aircraft cabin industry, bring together students with the industry, and promote and encourage the design culture in Turkey. A total of 36 students from 21 universities participated in the inaugural edition of the competition, which is planned to be turned into a tradition.  Kumsal Kurt, a senior student at the Department of Industrial Design at the Faculty of Architecture and Design at Özyeğin University, was honored with the Honorable Mention Award during the Aircraft Seat and Parts Design and Engineering Competition 2019-2020 in recognition of her design “Hold Up”, which she developed in the IDE 302 Design Studio last semester.
